We recieved the attached email 2 days ago, however it had dropped into our junk mail, so we only spotted this this morning.
"We are writing to inform you about an important update regarding Cin7 Orderhive.
After careful consideration and review of our existing product feature sets, we have made the decision to discontinue the Cin7 Orderhive product. We will continue to support the Cin7 Orderhive in 2023 but it will go out of service on March 31, 2024. This business decision was not made lightly, and we understand that this may cause inconvenience to you.
Based on the product capabilities, roadmap and customer needs, we believe that our Cin7 Core Product is a great solution for your business and our goal is to continue serving you with our Cin7 Core Product. We want to assure you that we will continue to provide support for Cin7 Orderhive during the next 11 months and we are committed to making the transition process as smooth as possible. Cin7 Core, with its current capabilities, integrations and product roadmap, offers a strong inventory management platform for your business for today and for the future. You can learn more about Cin7 Core here.
We understand that you may have questions or concerns about this announcement, migration timeline and plan. We will share a more detailed plan and schedule for migration the week of May 1, 2023.
Customers who have not signed up for a migration to Cin7 Core by September 30, 2023, will see an increase in monthly subscription fees by 50%. This price increase will come into effect starting October 1, 2023.
We want to thank you for being a part of our journey and for your continued support. We believe that our Cin7 Core product will meet your needs in the same way, and we are excited to continue serving you in the future.
If you have any questions or need further assistance, please reply to this email and a member of our team will connect with you directly.
Cin7 Team"
Just wanted to make other users aware, in case the email had dropped into other spam boxes.

https://www.inflowinventory.com/ InFlow Inventory is another one to check out. They do process payments but you have to sign up with their processor.

Check out Fishbowl guys, it seems like it's a solid option.
EDIT
They do not process payments in system yet for the online version. It should be coming though.

Matthew Meyer: Fishbowl was a nightmare. Beware of that.
M
Matthew Meyer
Caliber Armor: How so?
C
Caliber Armor
Matthew Meyer: Things may have changed. They promised us a full cloud experience and what ended up was that we had to have dedicated servers and the service support was horrible and then we were stuck with a huge upfront start up cost. Best of luck, I hope it works well for you. Feeling
pretty bummed about Orderhive.

Matthew Meyer
Caliber Armor: Where did you end up going?
C
Caliber Armor
Matthew Meyer: How is Fishbowl working? We are running tests on Cin7 and Zoho. All of it is pretty aggravating. We are in our busy season so trying to migrate inventory systems is taxing... Hope you are having luck. I'm interested to know.

Caliber Armor: I didn't move anywhere yet. I decided it was too late in the season to risk messing with all the systems.
Long term, I'm working with some developers now to create a new system like Orderhive. We're going to price it like Basecamp, make it fair for small and medium size businesses and not try and eek every penny out of them.
I got so frustrated with companies shutting down that I've now found myself on this route.
It won't be ready for awhile of course so in the meantime, I'm going to use Orderhive and probably switch to Fishbowl, DEAR, or Inflow. I do really like Inflow.
Zoho seems so promising but it also seems like every system is made independently and they integrate with each other but not to as good as they could.

Matthew Meyer: Keep me posted on what you find out. My email is michelle@caliberarmor.com
We need bundle products which ends up being more complicated then it needs to be. We also track serial numbers, which is entered at time of shipment so these systems have a hard time pushing that info back.
I'm finding that Zoho has so many links/ad ons and everyone is in India and they are not staffed for US market. So if something goes wrong then you are stuck until 1am.
Orderhive used to have amazing customer service staffed for US market.
After leaving fishbowl, I thought i had found exactly what I was searching for with Orderhive. It had it's issues, but I love being able to ship directly in the system and having everything all in one place.
Keep me posted on what you find.
I'll be over paying staff to work on integration spreadsheets for the rest of our life. :(

Matthew Meyer
Caliber Armor: haha, I'll keep you posted. Those are good notes. I'll send you an email.

Has anyone found an alternate IMS? So far, I can't find everything we need in one place. We have to have work orders, automations for invoicing, process payments and payment reports.
M
Matthew Meyer
Katie Miller: just checked out Fishbowl and it does what we need. Check it out and the pricing is similar. They'll say there is a $4k implementation cost but I got that down to $2k and I think if you wanted to do everything yourself you could have it waived.

Another option for people looking for alternatives. I found multiorders had very similar functionality.

For those looking for alternatives, have you taken a look at Linnworks?
M

Emily O: if you go through your walmart account or mention Walmart they should give you 20% off

K

WTF?! They just close like that, without data migration? We loose all the history?!

For those who are looking for an alternative, I would suggest take a look at Zoho Inventory.
